THANE: Digha suburban railway station between Thane and Airoli on trans harbour route will be ready for public use early next year providing relief to thousands of residents and employees of industrial belt in the vicinity, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP, Rajan Vichare, said on Saturday.

“I met senior railway officials who told me that the work is in advanced stage of completion and will be done by the end of this year. The station could be made operational anytime in first half of next year,” he said.
